Job at Niger Dock Nigeria for an Experienced IT Manager

Niger Dock Plc is the foremost Shipyard and Oil and Gas fabrication facility. As a result of restructuring, the Company requires the services of a seasoned professional for the position of an IT Manager.

In this position, the candidate will be responsible for providing strategic IT support and advice to the business as well as managing the IT department in all aspects of the function.

This role reports directly to the Business information Manager with dotted line responsibility to Group I.T Manager and requires a professional who has had previous experience liaising with management and has a successful record of forming strong working relationships with both internal and external customer.

Knowledge & Skills
Proven- track record of strong project management
Excellent communication skills
Experience providing technical and IT advice
At least 3 years management or supervisory experience
Tertiary qualifications in an IT capacity
Ability to work to tight deadlines and work under pressure
Ability to work as part of a team

Technical Requirements & Certifications
Microsoft Exchange Server (2003 and above). Windows 2003 Server and above (domains). Cisco equipment. Microsoft ISA 2003 and above. Desirable knowledge in SAGE Line 500 v6.0 or similar ERP (knowledge in process management)
