Oil Producing Company Positions An indigenous oil producing company is seeking to enlarge its operational capability and needs to recruit additional staff. Candidates who meet the following requirements are invited to apply for these positions: ENGINEERING POSITIONS Reservoir Engineer Degree in geology (1st or 2nd class). 2 to 4 years of experience with a service company or oil company in reservoir engineer and particularly production modeling. Knowledge of VIP is an advantage. Production Engineer Degree in Chemical Engineering (1st or 2nd class). 2 to 4 years of experience with a service company or an oil company in production engineering. Knowledge of process engineering, chemical optimization and oil plant optimization is required. Knowledge of Hysis and VIP is advantageous. Mechanical Engineers who meet the degree and experience requirements and are interested in moving into production engineering will be considered. EHSS ROLE EHSS Coordinator 5 to 7 years of experience with a reputable service company or an oil company in a senior EHSS role including some supervisory experience. A good degree in a safety or environmental related discipline either graduate or post graduate. Strong Safety Engineer Degree in a safety related discipline either graduate or post graduate. First degree to be 1st or 2nd class. 2 to 4 years experience with a reputable service company or an oil company in a safety position is required. Knowledge of safety standards and regulations for offshore oil and gas operations is required. Environmental Engineer Degree in an environmental related discipline either graduate or post graduate. First degree to be 1st class or 2nd class. 2 to 4 years experience with a service company or an oil company in an environmental position is required. Knowledge of environmental regulations and standards for oil and gas operations is required. TRANSPORT ROLES Logistics Coordinator 5 to 7 years experience in organizing sea and air logistics preferably in the oil industry. Excellent knowledge of air and sea logistics. Good commercial skills and knowledge of purchasing and contracts is required. A degree in a transport related area is an advantage. This is a hands-on role. Logistics Assistant 2 to 3 years of experience in organizing transport operations. Exposure to sea transport is an advantage. Knowledge of transport rules and regulations is required. A good degree (1st class or 2nd Class) in a transport related field is preferred. This is a hands-on role. Dispatcher 2 to 3 years of experience in organizing transport operations preferably air transport. HND or OND is required whilst a degree in a transport related field maybe beneficial. Knowledge of transport rules and regulations is required. This is a hands-on role. OPERATIONS ROLES Offtake Coordinator This position is responsible for organizing all aspects of oil offtakes including liaison with the appropriate regulators, clients and officials. 3 years of experience in offtake operations is highly desirable. Knowledge of sea transport and commercial shipping skills is desirable. A 1st class or 2nd class degree in an appropriate field is required. Government Relations Officer 2 to 3 years of experience in an oil company or service company dealing with regulatory issues. A 1st class or under 2nd class degree in an appropriate technical or managerial discipline is required. Knowledge of government regulations is highly desirable. DOCUMENTS MANAGEMENT These roles will manage an electronic and paper filing system of all records for the project. Document Controller 2 years of administration experience. A 1st class or under 2nd class degree in an appropriate field is required. Document control experience in a reputable company is desirable: Knowledge of IT systems are essential. Excellent attention to detail is required. Operations Accountant 2 to 3 years of accounting experience in a reputable company. A 1st class or under 2nd class degree in accounting or finance is required. An MBA is an advantage. Excellent attention to detail and numerical skills are required. Knowledge of financial packages is essential. Knowledge of heavy industry is an advantage. Membership of relevant professional bodies is expected. All these roles are hands on roles that will require travel to remote platforms and sites. For all roles strong numerical skills and excellent attention to detail are essential. Attendance at a suitable post graduate industry training programs such as PTI, IPS or SITP will be an advantage.
