Mobile Telecommunications Operator Vacancies

A well-capitalized fixed and mobile telecommunications operator licensed to operate across Nigeria, and will be commencing service in the first quarter of 2009 with a strong initial focus on the corporate and SME segment, presently seeks a top local and international talent across all major positions from executive officers downwards to join their corporate offices and initial field organisation in Lagos, Nigeria. Compensation will be at above-market rates with strong incentive-based and stock options for certain positions to reflect the caliber of personnel they seek. Ideal candidates will have the requisite prior experience and the passion and energy to build a new enterprise from the ground-up in conjunction with their technical and other partners. All applications will be kept strictly confidential and will be reviewed by a third-party consultancy engaged for the purposes.

CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER (CEO) REF: T001 
QUALIFICATIONS: 
* Experience in strategic planning and execution of a telecoms rollout. Strong project management, contracting, negotiating, and change management skills 
* Experience in examining and re-engineering operations and procedures. 
* Excellent understanding of telecommunications technology and operations experience with WiMAX a plus. 
* Ability to develop financial plans and manage resources. 
* Ability to analyze and interpret financial data. 
* Ability to attract significant funding in future rounds in conjunction with CFO and financial advisors. 
* Distinctive people leader and strong' no-excuses' results-orientation 
* Advanced Degree in Economics, Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, or relevant field. Fluency in English is essential. 
* A minimum of ten years leadership experience with at least 3 years at an executive level -preferably in a telecommunications enterprise. Multinational/international experiences a plus. 

CHIEF COMMERCIAL OFFICER (CCO) REF CODE: T002

CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER (CFO) REF CODE: T003
QUALIFICATIONS
* Experience in finance, accounting, budgeting and cost control principles and strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. 
* Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections 
* Excellent knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems. 
* Sound knowledge of federal and state financial regulations. 
* Advanced Degree in Finance or Accounting. 
* Fluency in English is essential. 
* A chartered Accountant.

* Familiarity in the fundamentals of Site Builds, Electrical, Grounding System, Tower Construction, Antenna Installation, Telecom Equipment Installation, DC & AC power system Installation and External Line Plant Projects 
* Must be skilled in technical drawings and the use of Visio, Microsoft Project and Power Point Presentation software. 
* Ability to work off hours and weekends to meet work demands. 
* Experience in Project Management of Wireless and Fixed Network. 
* At least 3-4 years of Project Management experience in the deployment and expansion of Wireless, Wired and IP Networks. 

HEAD, NETWORK OPERATIONS. REF CODE: T007 
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Bachelor degree and or Telecommunications, Electronics, Electrical, Computer or related area. 
* Familiarity in the fundamentals of Switching: ISP, Transmission, Access and DC/AC Power Equipment. 
* Must be skilled in Predictive and Preventive Maintenance of equipment, Traffic Statistics interpretation, and use of Spectrum Analyzer, Protocol Analyzer, RF Power Meters, DSL and LAN Testers. 
* Must be skilled in technical drawings and the use of Visio, Microsoft Project and Power Point software. 
* Ability to work off hours and weekends to meet work demands. 
* At least 3-4 years of Network Operations experience in Wireless and Fixed Wireless Network. 
* Experience in both Wireless and Wired Network Operations. 

VOICE AND DATA CORE NETWORK ENGINEER, REF CODE: T008 
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Bachelor degree and or Telecommunications, Electronics, Computer, Electrical, or related area. 
* Familiarity in the fundamentals of Voice Switching and ISP/DATA, Equipment, Possess an understanding of ISP networking technologies. 
* Must be skilled in Predictive and Preventive Maintenance of equipment, Traffic Statistics interpretation, Background in Cisco devices and commands, IP and TDM protocols. 
* Must be skilled in the use of Basic Mechanical and Electrical Tools. TDM & IP Protocol Analyzers. 
* Cisco Certifications are highly desired (CCNA/CCNP).

QUALIFICATIONS:
* Bachelor degree and or Advanced Degree in Social Sciences or any discipline. 
* Strong people management skills and administrative skills. 
* Should be familiar with HR IS, Reward management, HMO administration, Manpower planning and administration. 
* At least 4 years of human resources experience in a telecommunications or IT company; candidates from strong FMCG background will also be considered 

LEGAL AND REGULATORY MANAGER REF CODE: T016
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Ability to develop company wide policies based on regulatory guidelines and directives- NCC 
* Ability to proffer legal advice and opinions on issues arising from contracts, agreements or transactions, 
* Advice the company on the provisions of statutes, and providing interpretations where necessary advise on corporate and financial law issues. 
* Including financing, investment, divestment, labour, employment issues, corporate governance structures required by international standards. 
* Prepare notices, setting out agendas for Board Meetings and Annual General Meetings for the Company as well the Company's subsidiaries. Prepare board and circular resolutions of the Directors of the Company and subsidiary companies. Attend Board Meetings.

BILING AND ACCOUNTS SUPERVISOR. REF CODE: T017
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Ability to Process, Prepare and dispatch of clients' bills on a periodic basis. 
* Ability to use accounting software.
* Experience in Debt recovery and tracking. 
* Manage other credit control functions. 
* Ability to execute a monthly and periodic stock-count exercise, Preparation of accounts, design and implementation of accounting systems. 
* Ensure that there is timely preparation of Financial Reports for management use. 
* Responsible for preparation of the financial statements for statutory purposes. Participate in ensuring that all accounting books and record are regularly updated product costing and pricing
