Category A Vacancies.
i. Senior Mechanical/Production Engineer REF: SMPE GL 10 - 1
ii. Senior Electrical/Electronics Engineer. REF: SEEE GL 10 - 1
iii. Senior Chemical Engineer REF: SCE GL 10 - 1
iv. Senior Metallurgical Engineer REF: SMTE GL 10 - 1
v. Senior Scientific Officer (Physicists) REF: SSOP GL 10 - 1
vi. Senior Scientific Officer (Chemist) REF: SSOC GL 10 - 1
Qualifications/Requirements.
Candidates, who wish to apply for vacancies in category A (Grade Level 10), must possess the minimum qualification of PhD degree in the relevant field, plus at least one post –qualification n cognate experience. Candidates for these positions must not be more than 37 years, and possession of knowledge of computer and membership of relevant professional bodies shall be an additional advantage.
Category B Vacancies.
i. Mechanical/ Production Engineers I REF: MPE I GL 09 - 1
ii. Electrical/Electronics Engineers I REF: EEE I GL 09 - 1
iii. Chemical Engineers I REF: CE I GL 09 - 1

Qualifications/Requirements.
Candidates who wish to apply for vacancies in category B (Grade level 09), must possess the minimum qualification of M.sc degree in the relevant field, plus at least one post –qualification n cognate experience. Candidates for these positions must not be more than 33 years, and possession of knowledge of computer and membership of relevant professional bodies shall be an additional advantage.
Category C Vacancies.
i. Mechanical/ Production Engineers II REF: MPE II GL 08 - 8
ii. Electrical/Electronics Engineers I REF: EEE II GL 08 - 4

iii. Chemical Engineers II REF: CE II GL 08 - 2
iv. Metallurgical Engineer II REF: MTE II GL 08 - 2
v. Architect II REF: ARC II GL 08 - 2
vi. Civil Engineer II REF: C ENG II GL 08 - 2
vii. Quantity Surveyor II REF: QS II GL 08 - 2
viii. Program Analyst II REF: PA II GL 08 - 2

Qualifications/Requirements.
Candidates who wish to apply for vacancies in category C (Grade level 08), must possess the minimum qualification of B.sc degree / HND or its equivalent in the relevant field, plus one year National Youth Service Corps Experience. Candidates who passed out from NYSC for over two years need not apply. Age Ceiling for this category of applicants shall be 27 years.
Interested candidates are requested to note that as a Department of the Ministry of Defence, the job specification in all positions advertised are as contained in the Scheme of Service of the Federal Public Service. Similar, the salaries and allowances for all positions advertised are as provided in the Harmonized Salary Structure (HAPSS) of January 1, 2007.
