OIL RIG ENGINEER TRAINEES and SUPERVISOR needed

A premiere offshore drilling company which serves oil and gas companies, requires suitably qualified Nigerian for the following positions;


1.)   RIG ENGINEER TRAINEES- REF; REF/08

Successful candidates will be required to:

Follow structured training programme- designed to develop the required technical and leadership skill of the trainee to manage the companys offshore drilling rigs and its operations for a minimum of 36 months.
Work both offshore and in onshore offices in any part of the world during the various phases of the training.
 

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:

Minimum of university degree (2-1) in any of the following disciplines (Engineering- Chemical, Electrical/Electron ics, Marine, Mechanical, Petrochemical and Petroleum), Petroleum (Physics, Geology, Naval Architecture)
 

2.)   RIG SUPERVISOR TRAINEES- REF: ART08

Successful candidates will be required to;

Follow an Accelerated Rig Training (ART) programme, designed to develop trainees to become first level supervisors on offshore drilling rigs, for a minimum period of 30- 36 months.
Work offshore in any part of the world during the various phase of the training.
 

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum of BSC/HND in Engineering- Electrical/Electron ics, Marine, Mechanical, Chemical, Petrochemical and Petroleum.
Geology.
Purchasing and supply.
Business administration.
 

Requirements for all candidates;

Ability to relate well with people of different races and cultures.
Ability to be a team player.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skill.
Ability to adapt to varying work situations.
Result oriented with a high sense of responsibility.
Good computer skills.
Applicants must have completed NYSC.
Not older than 28yrs.
