international drilling services company Recruiting

A leading international drilling services company requires the following staff to complement its team. I happened to be a part of this team, and I have the previlege to share it with everyone in the house.

HSE Manage
Requirements:
* Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar position in the oil & gas industry
* Experience with offshore facilities desirable
* International safety certifications, such as IOSH or NEBOSH
* Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
* HND/B.Sc in a relevant field

Rig Manager
Requirements:
* Minimum of 5 years experience as a Rig Manager
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Computer skills desirable
* HND/B.Sc in a relevant field

Warehouse Man
Requirements:
* Minimum of 5 years experience in oil/gas drilling industry, including at least 3 years in inventory control and procurement
* Computer skills, especially proficiency in NICS, SAP, Word, Excel, Email, etc
* HND/B.Sc, in relevant field

Rig Superintendent
Requirements
* Minimum of 4 years experience as Rig Superintendent including at least 1 year of deepwater experience
* Excellent safety record from past operations
* Good computer skills
* Strong organizational skills in supervising the activities of drilling, marine and maintenance departments
* Must have a sound knowledge of all equipment, processes and calculations required for the safe operation of the drilling unit.
* Excellent communication and reporting skills

TOOLPUSHER (NIGHT) AND TOOLPUSHER (DAY)
Requirements:
* Minimum of 3 years experience in the position including at least 1 year in deepwater drilling
* Basic off shore safety training
* IWCF/IADC Well Control Certificate

DRILLERS
Requirements:
* Minimum of 3 years experience as a Driller, including at least 1 in deep water drilling
* Proven leadership skills required to supervise the assistant driller. Derrick hand and drill crew
* Computer and mathematics skills required
* Basic offshore safety training
* IWCF/IADC Well Control Certificate
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills

ASSISTANT DRILLERS
Requirements:
* Minimum of 2 years relevant experience offshore, including at least 1 year in Assistant Driller position
* Basic offshore safety training
* IWCF/IADC Well control certificate
* Minimum of OND in relevant discipline

CHIEF MECHANIC
Requirements:
* Minimum of 3 years experience as a Mechanic on a drilling unit
* BSc or HND in Engineering (preferably Mechanical Engineering) with knowledge of technical calculations required for safe mechanical operations
* Basic computer skills

Mechanic
Requirements:
* Apprenticeship in heavy machinery repair or manufacture or an internationally recognized trade qualification.
* High school diploma or equivalent

Chief Electrician
Requirements:
* Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role
* Must have a good knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigeration plants, power and communication systems
* Apprenticeship in heavy electrical equipment, ex equipment and high voltage AC and DC systems and repair or an internationally recognized trade qualification

Electrician
Requirements:
* Apprenticeship in heavy electrical equipment, ex equipment and high voltage AC and DC systems and repair Of an internationally recognized trade qualification
* Knowledge of all technical calculations required for electrical operation of the drilling units
* Basic Computer skills

Electronic Technician
Requirements:
* Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role
* Knowledge of some technical calculations required for electronic operation of the drilling unit
* Apprenticeship in electronic control systems, Plc controllers, basic telecommunications or an internationally recognized trade qualification
* Diploma or degree in Electronic Engineering
* Basic computer skills
